The brief
What was broken before we showed up.
211 Beachside Drive is an oceanfront residence in Orchid Island. MaxxCity Realty took the listing and needed a presentation that matched the property: not a card on a brokerage homepage, but a site of its own.
Most luxury listings get a slug page on a generic real-estate site: templated photo grid, agent header, the same booking widget every other listing uses. That template flattens every listing into the same conversation. For a property at this price tier, the conversation is the conversation.
We built 211beachside.com as a fully independent Cloudflare Worker. Its own domain, its own design language, its own deploy cadence, but plumbed into the brokerage's shared photo CDN (R2 + Image Transformations on a Cloudflare-proxied custom domain) and showing-request inbox. The brokerage's `/listings/211-beachside-drive` URL 301-redirects here, and the showing form posts cross-origin back to the brokerage API. Buyers get a bespoke trophy presentation; MaxxCity keeps a single operational inbox.
What we built
- Standalone Cloudflare Worker on its own vanity domain (211beachside.com + www + three variant redirects)
- Editorial single-page presentation: hero film, story, chapters, gallery, specifications, community, showing
- Chaptered photo storytelling: themed groups of photographs with editorial supports, not a flat grid
- Brochure-grade specifications panel with collapsible groups (Setting, Architecture, Kitchen, Owner's Suite, Amenities)
- Ambient Cloudflare Stream hero loop + click-to-play long-form film tour, unbranded player
- Orchid Island community overview: neighborhood context buyers at this tier actually evaluate
- Showing-request form posting cross-origin to the brokerage's central inbox
- Shared R2 photo bucket via `images.maxxcityrealty.luxe`: edge cache compounds across the brokerage and every listing
- Three vanity-domain variant 301s to the canonical URL, preserving path + query

The film
What the still tour cannot show.
The long-form film tour that plays inside 211beachside.com's unbranded video player. Same cut, same colorwork: a walking tour of the estate at the tempo a buyer at this tier expects.
In their words
I worked with Matt to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for a multimillion-dollar luxury oceanfront estate, and the experience exceeded my expectations at every level. From strategy and positioning to the digital execution surrounding 211 Beachside, Matt brought an incredible combination of creativity, technical knowledge, marketing insight, and attention to detail. I’ve worked with a lot of technology and marketing professionals over the years, and Matt is truly one of the best.
